Sunshine and the Sea of Lost Things
Sunshine and the Sea of Lost Things follows a young mixed-race Filipino girl, Sunshine, who is stranded on a ship in the Sea of Lost Things. Joining her on the ship are two heroes, Peter and Anagolay, who must navigate her home — wherever that home may be — before she is lost at sea forever.

Biographies
Sarah Lina Sparks
Sarah Lina Sparks [she, her] (Playwright) is excited to make her (live!) Chicago debut with Ghostlight Ensemble Theatre Company. A sophomore at the University of California, Los Angeles, and member of the Dramatists Guild of America, her previous work includes the award-winning Silent Night (International Thespian Festival) and The American Iconography Project (Out of the Blue Theatre Company at UCLA). Sarah was a finalist for the California Young Playwrights Competition in 2019 for her play If Only Mabel Wore Trousers. Additionally, she is the New Works Artistic Director for the Shakespeare Theatre Company at UCLA as well as Script Coordinator for the 45th annual Samahang Pilipino Cultural Night at UCLA. She would like to thank her mom and dad for all their love and support.
Carina Lastimosa
Carina Lastimosa [she, her] (Director) is a San Francisco Bay Area native, currently residing in Chicago working as an actor and sometimes playwright. This marks Carina's directorial debut, as well as her first production working with Ghostlight! Chicago acting credits include: I Build Giants and Poison (The Plagiarists) and W.o.W. (Theatre Above The Law). Selected Bay Area acting credits include: Sisters Matsumoto (Center REPertory Company), A Dreamplay (Cutting Ball Theater), Dogeaters (Magic Theatre), The Day The Crayons Quit (Bay Area Children's Theatre), Slaughterhouse-Five and Top Girls (Custom Made Theatre Co.), Marat/Sade (Thrillpeddlers), The Crazed (Central Works), A Kind of Sad Love Story (Bindlestiff Studio) and as a performer/educator for Kaiser’s Educational Theatre. Carina's short play, The White Room, was a recipient of the Flash 405 award from Exposition Review and had its world premiere produced by Our Digital Stories. She is also the recipient of Theatre Bay Area TITAN Award. Carina holds a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University. She is represented by Lily's Talent Agency. REID HENRY
Reid Henry (Peter) is a Chicago-based actor, incredibly glad to be making his return to the stage after a nearly two year hiatus. His most recent credits include The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged, Titus Andronicus, Leipzig, All’s Well that Ends Well and Romeo and Juliet. He hopes everyone stays safe, so we can all keep enjoying the theatre together in person.
Andi Muriel
Andi Muriel [she/they] (Sunshine) is a Chicago-based artist, actress and arts educator who is absolutely thrilled to be working with Ghostlight Ensemble for her very first time. Andi is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago's School of Theatre and Music, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting. University credits include Three Sisters, Glengarry Glenn Ross, and the Q Brothers' rap opera adaptation of the Julius Caesar story: Rome Sweet Rome. Since graduating, Andi has performed in Theatre of The Beyond's new play Circles, Forest Park Theatre's production of As You Like It and understudied in Tasters (Rivendell Theatre Ensemble) and Richard III (Promethean Theatre Ensemble).
JOSELLE REYES
Joselle Reyes [she/her/hers] (Anagolay) is from the island of Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands and recently graduated from Columbia College Chicago where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance. She was last seen as Ariel in The Little Mermaid (Music Theater Works), Edges: A Song Cycle (Columbia College Chicago) and in Baked! The Musical (Chicago Music Theatre Festival at Underscore Theatre). She's excited to perform in the Make/Believe Festival for the first time and hopes you enjoy the show! Mahal kita, Mama.
